Major Responsibilities


Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure controls.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
Manage general ledger entries and month-end/year-end closing processes
Provide financial analysis and support to management and operations teams
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards
Assist with audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
Support payroll, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable processes.


Requirements


BSc/ HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
Professional certification (ICAN) is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Strong communication and analytical skills
Must be willing and available to work outside the primary job location when required.
