Key Responsibilities


Prepare budget, review and track Expenses
Implementing financial policies and procedures
Establish and maintain cash controls
Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Monitor cash reserves and investments
Prepare and reconcile bank statements
Process/execute supplier invoices
Prepare income statements & balance sheets
Prepare quarterly reports and report on variances
Maintain financial files and records including cash book
Maintain assets register and safeguard Company's assets
Prepare budget forecasts and Assist with annual audit
Publish financial statements in time and Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns and Submit VAT filing
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Monthly / Quarterly Reports on the company's financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Minimizing office expenditures
Maintain close links and inform the Chief Executive of all issues likely to affect the operation of the Company
Carry out general duties as assigned from time to time in all accounting transactions


Qualifications / Requirements for this role


First degree (minimum second class lower) in Accounting or any relevant field.
ICAN or it's Equivalent
Experience in preparing and presenting financial and budget reports
1-5 years post graduation experience.
Knowledgeable and skilled with excel for accounting processes and programming
Excellent communication skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Self motivated, good drive and passion for excellence.
