Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to support the company's accounting and financial operations.
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting inventory accounting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
Assist in inventory and stock reconciliation.
Support payroll processing and statutory deductions.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1 - 3 years' relevant accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing company is an added advantage.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Good understanding of basic auditing procedures.
