Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Day-to-day tasks include monitoring budgets, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and preparing tax returns.
The role will also involve identifying cost-saving opportunities and collaborating with other departments to achieve financial objectives.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis
Strong skills in Budgeting, Tax Preparation, and Compliance
Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Excel
Attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities
Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are an advantage
Relevant work experience in accounting or finance is preferred
