Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Maintain accurate daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Match bank statements with general ledgers to identify discrepancies and prevent financial errors.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in line with regulatory and company standards.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Manage cash flow, monitor expenditures, and recommend cost-control measures.
Provide financial analysis and insights to guide strategic decision-making.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
Contribute to the development of financial strategies that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
Establish and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with the external financial community.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, ICAN, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Nigerian tax regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
