We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant with Xero expertise to join our client, a dynamic US-based e-commerce company. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the financial health and success of an innovative company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the company’s accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and reconcile all financial records using Xero.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
