Job Summary


The Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations and providing administrative support to ensure efficient business operations. The role involves financial management, regulatory compliance, and administrative / operational support to enhance organizational productivity.


Accounting & Financial Management


Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software and MS Office tools.
Prepare financial statements and management reports including budgeting and variance analysis.
Prepare regular reports on office budgets, expenses, sales, stock reconciliation, etc.
Financial Statement Preparation, Reporting, Analysis and Interpretation.
Management Account Reporting, Budgeting and Variance Analysis.
Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement, Reconciliation of Ledgers, Resolving of the Differences, Banking transactions, cash control and cost control
Monitoring of Accounts Receivables and Payables.
Petty cash management.


Compliance, Audit & Taxation


Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory requirements.
Coordinate external audits.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
Stay informed about financial and tax regulation changes.


Administrative Operations


Manage procurement of office supplies and materials.
Ensure proper inventory control and stock reconciliation.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, preferably within retail, fashion, or manufacturing.
Path to Professional certification (ICAN or equivalent) is an added advantage.
