Accountant

Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, including daily sales reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Process payables, receivables and payroll inputs
• Manage inventory costing and stock-related reconciliations
• Handle tax filings and compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT) and liaise with FIRS and auditors
• Monitor budgets and flag cost-control issues.

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• ICAN or ANAN membership (or in progress) is an advantage
• 3+ years' accounting experience, preferably in retail
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel
• High integrity, accuracy and strong attention to detail.
