Key Responsibilities
Capture and maintain accurate accounting records
Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors)
Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Prepare and submit tax returns (Individuals, Companies, and Trusts)
Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and deadlines
Administer Trust accounts, including:
Trust financial statements
Beneficiary allocations and distributions
Trust tax compliance and submissions
Liaise with clients and provide professional support
Assist with audits and year-end processes
Maintain proper filing systems and supporting documentation
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Accounting qualification (Diploma or Degree)
Registered Tax Practitioner (essential)
1 - 2 years' experience in an accounting firm or similar environment
Proven experience with Trusts (essential)
Strong understanding of tax compliance and SARS processes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
