Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for:
Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance & reconciliation.
Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Ensuring strict compliance with statutory legislation and financial regulations.
Conducting detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making.
Coordinating with internal and external auditors during the financial audit process.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting.
Certification: A professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA will be a distinct advantage.
Age Requirement: Candidates within the preferred age range of 30 - 40 years will be considered.
