Duties and Responsibilities
Verification of vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulations;
Assisting with employee salary calculations and deductions;
Data capture, maintenance of primary records such as registers and preparation of simple management reports;
Safe custody of programme records and assets;
Writing cheques and posting payments and receipt vouchers in the cash books;
Balancing and ruling of the cash books, imprests and advance ledgers on daily basis; and
Prepare monthly, quarterly, biannual & annual financial reports.
Requirements for Appointment
Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
OR
Passed Part II of the Certified Public Accountants Examination or its approved equivalent qualification;
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
Proven work experience for a minimum of 2 years as accounts assistant or similar role; and
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures; and
