Qualifications
Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent from a recognized institution
CPA Part I or in progress
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Computer literate
Meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements
Key Responsibilities
Prepare payment vouchers and monitor payments to creditors
Enter financial data and maintain accounting records
Prepare imprest, journal vouchers, and petty cash
Capture institution income and expenses accurately
Prepare and issue invoices or fee statements for tuition, accommodation, and other charges
Track unpaid student fees and follow up on overdue payments
Reconcile student accounts and receivable balances with the general ledger
Prepare reports on outstanding receivables, collections, and bad debts
