About the Role
The Administrative Manager is responsible for supervising and managing facility operations. Also responsible for making sure an office operates smoothly and efficiently. Organizational and communication skills are essential in an office also be required to create reports and memos, organize events, and serve as assistants to managers and senior-level officers. Also, help ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
General maintenance of all company facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health & safety requirements.
Procurement and management of stationery and sundry materials when required.
Arrange and issue ID cards and complementary cards to new employees; and ensure recovery of the same on disengagement of employees.
Stock taking and store maintenance.
Planning special events and functions with other departments.
Responsible for filing documents in line with the Company's ISO standard.
Processing of all admin request from staff
Interface with suppliers/contractors by aiding in the preparation for payment for all purchases.
Ensure prompt attendance to staff logistics request in compliance with the department's standard operating procedures
Request and negotiate for diesel price and supply.
Renew all company subscriptions (DSTV, PHCN bills, LAWMA, Water bills, LASAA, etc.).
Presentation of departmental objectives.
Initiation of Payments
Perform other related duties as they may be assigned by line managers from time to time
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the organization
Prepare monthly and annual department budget, and follow up for approval
Track all department expenses, compare with budgeted expenditures, and report variances for Management action.
Ensure there are at least 3 vendors for all outsourced service.
Always ensure Security and safety of company properties
Requirements
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 7-10 years experience.
