Person Specifications (Education, Experience & Competencies)
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Transport and Logistics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a register of the Agency's assets;
Compiling a list of unserviceable and obsolete assets for disposal;
Assisting in environmental safety, hygiene and sanitation;
Assigning vehicles to drivers on a daily basis;
Preparing reports on motor vehicles as required;
Maintaining, storing and securing files and records;
Ensuring maintenance of the workplace environment;
Supervising general cleaning of the Agency's offices;
Keeping and maintaining records of the Agency's vehicles;
Following up on payments of all bills for common services;
Implementing work environment survey recommendations to improve and ensure a conducive work environment for staff of the Agency;
Identifying areas of risk in the department;
Implementing the department's charter;
Promoting Business Process Re-engineering (BPR);
Implementing the business continuity plan for the department; and
Fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and good corporate citizenship.
