Duties and Responsibilities: -

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: -


Undertake General Office Administration;
Handle Public Complaints;
Compile Returns, daily operational and incidental reports;
Collect and collate data for preparation of speech briefs, report writing and updating biodata;
Assist in organizing meetings and meeting rooms;
Assist in scheduling and planning county events;
Transport management for the Department;
Supervise junior staff and their performance;
Participate in the development of policies and plans;
Perform other general administrative duties as assigned; and
Undertake any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.


Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:


Be in possession of a Bachelor's Degree in any of the Social Sciences, preferably in Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology or related field from a university recognized in Kenya; and
Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
