Job Description
Our client in the banking industry is seeking a hands-on AI Developer to design, develop, test and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft's AI technology stack. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary Agile team to deliver secure, scalable and production-ready solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI and related Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and deploy AI agents and AI-powered solutions.
Build solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and Microsoft AI services.
Configure prompts, workflows, orchestration logic, connectors and integrations.
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs and data sources.
Support proofs of concept, pilots, production deployments, releases and performance optimisation.
Develop reusable components and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in testing, debugging, code reviews and defect resolution.
Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, maintainability and engineering standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, testers and product owners.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
Technical Skills and Experience
Essential:
Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI.
Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience building, configuring and deploying AI agents.
API integration experience, including authentication and security principles.
Experience testing, debugging and supporting AI-powered solutions.
Advantageous:
Experience with Power Platform, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, or Microsoft Fabric.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or a related language.
Minimum Requirements
2 - 5 years of software development experience.
Proven experience delivering solutions in an enterprise environment.
Practical experience with Microsoft AI technologies.
Experience building and deploying AI or automation use cases.
A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Microsoft Applied Skills: Build AI Apps with Azure AI Foundry.
Microsoft Copilot Studio certification.
Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
