Air Monitoring Officer: GHG Montg & Air Dispersion Modeller - HESD19035 at City of Ekurhuleni

Minimum Requirements:


BSc Degree/National Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Management.
NQF Level 7: Higher Education and Training, First Degree / Advanced Diplomas.
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment of air quality monitoring and management of ambient air quality stations
Registration with the relevant Professional body


Core Responsibilities:


Ensure the monitoring, reporting and review of air quality emissions as outlined in NEMAQA and related legislation and regulations in EMM.
Ensure adequate implementation and maintenance of Governance and Risk Management practices
Ensure compliance with all applicable MFMA and other applicable legislation and regulation in EMM.
Provide effective and efficient customer service
Ensures effective contract management in area of responsibility
