ELIGIBILITY / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
Must be a Diploma Finalist at Bukura Agricultural College
Minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60%
Age: 18 - 34 years | Genuine interest in agriculture & motivation to learn
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
7-9 months practical agricultural traineeship in Southern Germany (March/May - November). Live and work with a German host family on a private commercial farm (learning by doing). Hands-on experience in crop production, livestock, machinery & sustainable farming practices. Introductory seminar, field trips, cultural exchange and German language improvement. Goal: Build skills to manage farm businesses efficiently & act as agricultural multipliers in Kenya.

Orientation seminar & field trips
German language preparation classes
Traineeship certificate upon completion
Cultural immersion & networking
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Basic practical agricultural knowledge (no initial training provided)
Willingness to integrate into host family life & rural German culture
Basic German language knowledge (classes organized by BAC & AKI before departure)
Ability to ride a bicycle (mandatory) | Tractor/driver's licence is an advantage
Openness, proactivity, responsibility and readiness for long, physically demanding work days
Commitment to complete the full program and submit experience report (parts in German)
