Role Overview:

We are seeking an Anaesthesia Assistant to support our anaesthesiologists and surgical teams in delivering safe, high-quality care. The role involves preparing anaesthesia equipment, assisting during procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols in theatre and recovery areas.

Responsibilities:


Prepare and check anaesthesia machines, drugs, and equipment.
Assist anaesthesiologists during induction, monitoring, and recovery.
Monitor patient vitals and promptly escalate concerns.
Maintain sterility and infection control standards in theatre.
Clean, disinfect, and restock anaesthesia equipment.


Qualifications:


Certificate/Diploma in Anaesthesia Technology, or perioperative theatre Technology or equivalent.
Previous experience in anaesthesia assistant role
Registration and valid license with the relevant council.
BLS/ACLS certification is an added advantage.


Skills & Competencies:


Knowledge of anaesthesia procedures and equipment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
High attention to detail, safety, and patient care.
Flexibility to work shifts, nights, and weekends.
