Analyst (Financial Institutions) at Robert Walters

Our client, a multinational financial institution is hiring for an Analyst focused on Financial Institutions reporting, to be based in Lagos.
The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge in credit/risk assessment, including strong financial institutions, insurance, and non-bank financial institutions analysis experience.


Role responsibilities
Analysis:


Write in-depth, high-quality, and focused research on credit trends, including thought-leading reports on financial institutions, insurance, and non-bank financial institutions.
Become a recognised authority on your portfolio of rated financial institutions, insurance, and non-bank financial institutions.
Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements.
Good understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standard


Candidate requirements


Strong academic background at least equivalent to a BSc in a relevant area and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
ACA/ACCA/CFA/CIMA professional qualification would be highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of Nigeria's financial services sectors, their regulatory environment, and the key issues affecting the various economic sectors/the main players and key industry drivers.
Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills.
Write timely and effective research on topical issues.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
