Job Summary:
The Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring projects meet functional, aesthetic, safety, and regulatory standards. The role requires creativity, technical expertise, and strong project management skills to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop conceptual and detailed designs for buildings, landscapes, and interior spaces.
Prepare architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs meet requirements and budget.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Review and approve project plans, materials, and design modifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects and design team members.
Stay updated on trends, materials, and technologies in architecture and construction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
Professional licensure or registration as an Architect preferred. (ARCON & NIA)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
Proficiency in CAD, BIM, SketchUp, Revit, and other design software.
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
