What you will do:

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Execution


Implement sales strategies developed by the Head of Sales to meet regional revenue and customer acquisition targets.
Drive sales of device financing products through direct client engagement, partnerships, and localized campaigns.
Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, customer conversion rates, and portfolio growth.


Team Management


Lead, motivate, and manage a regional sales team, ensuring adherence to company standards and performance metrics.
Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to enhance team skills in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.


Market Development


Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned region, including partnerships with local retailers, distributors, or financial institutions.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and regional trends to inform sales tactics.
Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and community engagements to promote the device financing portfolio.


Performance Analysis


Track and analyze regional sales data, customer feedback, and market trends using provided analytics tools.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities for the Head of Sales.
Adjust sales approaches based on data insights to optimize results and address market dynamics.


Collaboration


Work closely with the marketing team to execute region-specific campaigns and promotional activities.
Collaborate with risk and product development teams to ensure compliance with financing policies and alignment with customer needs.
Partner with customer service teams to resolve client issues and enhance the overall customer experience


What you will need:

Qualifications:


Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in financial services, device financing, or retail.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and CRM tools to track performance and customer behavior.
Knowledge of the Kenyan market, particularly in device financing, fintech and consumer electronics, is a plus.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
