Key Responsibilities


Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Drive sell-in and sell-out across sanitary wares, water heaters, and electrical fittings.
Develop and execute structured territory sales plans.
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective strategies where required.
Appoint, manage, and evaluate distributors and major dealers.
Ensure adequate stock levels and product availability across the territory.
Monitor distributor performance and payment compliance.
Maintain strong business relationships to drive consistent volume growth.
Identify and onboard new dealers, plumbing stores, electrical shops, supermarkets, and project sites.
Increase market penetration within the assigned cluster.
Expand presence in construction projects and real estate developments.
Build strong relationships with contractors, plumbers, electricians, architects, and developers.
Follow up on construction projects to secure product specifications.
Negotiate pricing and close bulk/project sales.
Ensure proper product display, branding, and visibility in retail outlets.
Execute promotions, trade incentives, and activation programs.
Monitor competitor pricing and market activities.
Manage and supervise Sales Representatives within assigned territory.
Set targets and monitor daily/weekly sales activities.
Conduct regular field visits and joint sales calls.
Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Provide competitor analysis and market insights.
Track and resolve customer complaints promptly.


Qualifications & Requirements


Age: 30 - 35 years (Maximum).
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in building materials sales.
Proven experience managing Lagos market distribution channels.
Strong knowledge of major Lagos trade markets listed above.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent relationship management ability.
Target-driven and performance-oriented mindset.
Strong understanding of distribution networks.
Ability to analyze sales data and territory performance.
Effective communication and strong field execution skills.
