Job Overview

The Area Trade Marketer (ATM) is responsible for driving secondary sales, expanding market coverage, ensuring product visibility, and achieving business growth within the assigned territory. The role involves managing distributor relationships, developing retail and wholesale channels, and executing the Company's sales strategy on the ground. The role works closely with sales teams to strengthen route-to-market execution and grow market share across key FMCG categories.

Key Responsibilities


Execute approved trade marketing plans, promotions, and product launches within the assigned area.
Drive in-store visibility, merchandising standards, and POSM execution across general trade and modern trade outlets.
Support distributor-led execution to improve numeric and weighted distribution.
Work closely with Area Sales Managers and sales teams to deliver volume and brand objectives.
Monitor and report on competitor pricing, promotions, shelf presence, and market activity.
Track promotional effectiveness, availability gaps, and execution compliance.
Conduct regular market visits, outlet audits, and retail activations.
Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines and trade marketing standards.


Requirements


Diploma or Bachelor's in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
2 - 5 years of FMCG sales or territory management experience.
Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage trade relationships.
Strong understanding of General Trade, Secondary Sales and Wholesale channels.
