QUALIFICATIONS


Grade 12
Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
Mechanical trade certificate.


SKILLS REQUIREMENTS


3 years' experience in heavy industry which includes 1 year in a senior position
Experience in Crushers, Pumps, vibrator feeders and Conveyor Belts
SAP, Coupa and Isometrix knowledge
Computer literacy
Good verbal and written communication skills


JOB OBJECTIVES

In this role you will be responsible to the Superintendent (Engineering) for the following:


Ensuring safety compliance in the section
Coordination of the Mechanical team, which includes controlling of operational activities, personnel, budgets and HSEQ systems compliance
Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards / procedures
Maintain discipline in the issuing, receiving, and capturing of PM orders continuously
Ensuring plant spares availability, maintain spares stock levels, managing and reporting critical spares, managing special equipment and tools for artisans.
Attend to Breakdowns
Preventative Maintenance
Planned maintenance
Plant maintenance shutdown planning and execution
Standby duties
