Job Description
Coordinate daily activities and allocate workers across assembly lines to meet production goals.
Monitor output for defects and enforce strict adherence to product specifications and company standards.
Resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, and mechanical issues quickly on the shop floor.
Train assembly operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), tools handling, and safety rules.
Maintain accurate daily logs of output, downtime, manpower use, and shift handovers.
Enforce workplace safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S or similar factory organization methods.
Work with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Stores to keep lines running smoothly.
Qualification
B.ENG. / HND in Engineering or Natural Sciences
Possess a minimum of 5years practical experience 3of which must have been obtained from plastics production.
Skill Set:
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Attention to details
Leadership skills.
