Description
To assist in the effective management and operation of the branch, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with operational standards.
Manage Business:
Manage turnover.
Monitor stock flow to determine fast/slow movers.
Plan promotions to maximise flow.
Optimisation of service departments, floor areas, shelves space, merchandising, eye levels (KBI lines), etc.
Plan and execute new initiatives - new product lines, price structuring, packaging, presentation, availability, etc.
Manage margins.
Calculate and initiate mark-ups on products.
Obtain master price structures from franchisors.
Benchmark pricing with/to conglomerates to optimise competitiveness.
Minimise expenses to maximise/ensure effectiveness.
Bulk purchase - price negotiations.
Facilitate applications for new account holders.
Manage existing debtors book per regulations.
Manage creditors book.
Effective handling of customer queries and enquiries.
Manage personnel:
Performance management.
Communication with personnel.
Manage personnel appointments.
Personnel administration.
Ensure compliance to legislation.
Requirements
National Senior Certificate.
Candidates with degree in Business Marketing will receive preference.
A minimum of 3 year relevant experience.
Candidates with SAP experience will receive preference.
Skills/ Competencies:
Knowledge of merchandising principles and space optimization.
Planning and implementation of promotional activities
