Job Summary

The Assistant Cane Mill Fitters will assist in the maintenance and repair of cane mill equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the mill. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, hardworking technician with a willingness to learn and grow in sugar mill operations. They should be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to the success of the milling team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


Assist in the maintenance and repair of cane mill equipment, including knives, shredders, and crushing mills.
Perform routine inspections and monitoring of equipment to identify potential issues.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, collaborating with fitters and other support teams as needed.
Develop and implement minor modifications to equipment and processes to improve efficiency and safety.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
Assist in training and development of apprentices and junior staff.


Educational Qualification and Work Experience


Shall hold the minimum of SSCE
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience.
