The Assistant Chef will support the Head Chef in meal preparation, execution, and kitchen management.
Duty Station: Veteran Mission Hospital
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Head Chef in daily meal preparation and plating.
Prepare special diet meals under supervision.
Ensure food quality and consistency for all patients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and workstations.
Assist in inventory management and stock monitoring.
Support the Head Chef in supervising waiting staff and trainees.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in professional kitchens.
Knowledge of basic nutrition and hospital dietary requirements.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work in a team.
