Duties and responsibilities
Coordinating the provision of all survey services within the county which includes road reserve identification, title surveys for all land assets and mapping to aid in road boundary markings for protection and registration of road reserves.
Managing surveying techniques, national land information management systems boundary surveys and engineering projects.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to land use and zoning decisions.
Ensuring compliance with the standards for cadastral, topographic, and engineering surveys while overseeing equipment calibration.
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the land survey section.
Ensure county survey activities align with national standards and regulations.
Manage the acquisition and maintenance of survey equipment and software.
Requirements for Appointment
Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geospatial Engineering, Technology in Geomatics or Technology in Geoinformatics.
A master's degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.
Must be a member in good standing of the Institute of Survey of Kenya (ISK)
Minimum of eight (8) years of technical and professional experience in land surveying.
