Requirement for appointment
Have served in the grade of senior assistant director of physical planning for a minimumperiod of three years
Have a Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: -Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning or any other equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya;
Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: -Urban and
Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning or any other equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya is an added advantage;
Be a corporate member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter) or Town &county plannersAssociation of Kenya (TCPAK)
Certificate in Senior management course not lasting less than four (4) weeks froma recognized institution;
Computer proficiency;
Be registered by the physical planner's registration board
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Meet the requirement of the Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
