MINIMUM - COMPETENCIES
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Human Resource Management in the Public Service, employment legislation, and Public Service Regulatory Frameworks (Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Public Finance Management Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Policy on Incapacity Leave and Ill-Health Retirement, Promotion of Access to Information Act, Personal Protective Equipment Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act, SHEQ). Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work in a team and independently. Report writing and presentation skills. Stakeholder and client liaison, innovative, analytical and creative ability.
Ability to work in a team, independently and in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work under pressure. A valid driver's license.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 plus a recognised Undergraduate (NQF 7) in Psychology/Social Work or related qualification as recognised by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions or Health Profession Council of South Africa. A Minimum of 3 years' experience in Employee Health and Wellness environment.
DUTIES
Provide Psychological support to the employees, coordinate Employee Health and Wellness activities,
Coordinate and Facilitate EHWP Committee meetings, compile content for Healthy lifestyle awareness information as well as daily administration within the unit.
