Duties and Responsibilities:
To achieve set productivity levels as per work standards.
Assist in setting up machines for specific raw materials usage and the changeover of all machinery.
Record hourly/daily production.
Responsible for quality control- all output must be in accordance with specifications as laid down by management.
Ensure correct roll dimensions loaded as per Job requirement.
Assist Senior Production Operator to set die sizes according to current work standards.
To assist in operating machines performing sequences of operations and undertaking specific activities by:
Checking settings and devices and activating correct measures if necessary.
Observing readings on visual displays and initiating adjustments.
Observe for malfunctioning and report to Senior Production Operator.
Reporting on condition and status of parts requiring replacement and repair on daily checks.

Grade 12/ the equivalent
Attention to detail
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
Reliable and punctual
1-2 years skilled Extrusion operational experience
