Requirements:
Grade 10 (Must be able to read and write)
Must be 18 years or older
Willing to complete practical and theoretical firefighting training
Be stationed at any Fire Station within the Hessequa Municipal Area
Work overtime and on short notice
No criminal record
Two years' experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.
Duties:
Perform fire-fighting operations
Respond to fires
Check and maintain equipment
Keep vehicles clean and maintained
Assist with clearing fire breaks
Perform control room duties.
Closing date: 23 October 2026
