Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving and registering patients at hospital reception;
Booking appointment for patients to specialty and consultants' clinics;
Storing and retrieving medical records and documents;
Capturing data from service points
Preparing clinics
Updating bed bureau
Maintaining record safety and confidentiality; and
Assigning codes to disease and surgical procedures according to ICD 11
Creating, maintaining and updating patient master index
Requirements for Appointment
Kenyan Citizen
Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized Institution;
Certificate in computer skills from a recognized institution
Certificate of registration by Association of Medical Records Officers-Kenya (AMROK).
