Job Summary:
The County Public Service Board Wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons on permanent and pensionable terms to fill the following positions in the department of Social Services & Talent Management
Duties and Responsibilities
working with community to identify and mobilize local resources for the implementation of development projects guiding communities to develop Community Action Plans (CAPs)
liaising with local communities and other development agencies in implementing Community development programmes;
identifying self-help groups and community-based organizations for registration
Mobilization and assisting communities in identifying, development and management of various viable social and economic activities to uplift their standards of living
Providing services through increasing the capacity of local people, volunteers, community organization, and ensuring that community involvement is at the centre of the programme activities.
Qualifications:
Requirements for Appointment Direct Appointment For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Social Work, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, Counseling, Mental Health, Community Development Gender, Development Studies, Project Planning/Management, Environmental Studies or Equivalent qualification from recognized institution.
Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.
