For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
Diploma in Technical Education or Diploma in Education in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support System or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;
OR
Diploma in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support System or equivalent and relevant qualification; and a Diploma in Education/ Diploma Technical Trainer Education from a recognized Institution;
OR
Diploma in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support System or equivalent and relevant qualification
OR
Craft Certificate in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support
System or relevant TVET specialization;
Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirement for licensing by TVETA
Be a member of a relevant professional body (where applicable).
