Qualifications, Experience, and knowledge:


An LL. B Degree with at least Second-Class Upper Division from a recognized university.
Admission to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid, current Practicing Certificate.
Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant post-admission experience in a reputable law firm.
Handled residential and commercial transactions related to real estate including drafting and reviewing sale agreements, leases, and transfers. Familiarity with the Sectional Properties Act and land-related due diligence is essential.
Experienced in the perfection of securities (Charges, Mortgages, Debentures etc) and ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements of various financial institutions.
Highly proficient in drafting and negotiating transactional documents such as facility agreements, joint venture agreements, and legal opinions.
To be the primary point of contact for clients, financial lenders, and estate agents, providing regular status updates and professional advice.
Oversee the filing and registration process at various government registries (Lands, Companies, etc.) with the support of the clerical team.
Demonstrated high ethical standards and sound decision-making.
Meticulous approach to legal research and document proofing.
Demonstrate Commercial Awareness.
Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to simplify complex legal concepts for clients.
Proven ability to work well with supervisors and support staff.
