Area: Morningside
Children's Ages: 6 year old - twin boys (Grade 0) and 9 year old - Girl (Grade 4)
Working hours: Monday - Friday 13:00 - 17:00
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
Duties: Collect from school, take them to any extra murals or appointments, assist and oversee homework is done, educational stimulation and play activities, prepare a light snack or meal and ensure bags are packed for the next day. Assist and prepare dinner for the family if possible.
Special Requirements: Someone who can assist with Afrikaans is ideal. Any teaching or psychology degree would be a huge advantage.
Start Date and contract term: ASAP - permanent
Salary: R10 000 - R13 000pm - depending on experience and qualifications (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
