A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
Area: Waverly, Johannesburg
Children's Ages: 18 month old and 14 years old (Has ADHD)
Working hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 13:00-17:00, Tuesday 14:00-17:00 and Friday 12:00-14:00 (17 hours per week)
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly flexible
Duties: Fetch teenager from school. Take him to the gym x1/week. Homework supervision. Help him tidy his room. School work. Fun activities with teen. Prepare light snack. Drive to appointments. Shopping for the house. Run errands For 18month old: she's mainly with the live-in helper. Au pair plays more a supportive role. May babysit at times, play with baby and help feed.
Special Requirements: We're looking for a female, ideally younger than 30 years old. Kind and patient. Likes children. Doesn't mind a cat as a pet that we have. Reliable. Takes job seriously. Someone stable who can at least be with us for two years- longer if possible. We are looking for stability.
Start Date and contract term: 28 August - permanent
Salary: R8500pm (Gross, before deductions)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
