Job Description : Audit Intern Job Title: Audit Intern Department: Audit & Assurance Reports To: Audit Senior / Audit Manager Salary:900 per day Job Purpose To support the Audit team in conducting audit assignments, preparing working papers, and ensuring that audit procedures are completed accurately and on time.
Job Description
Assist in conducting audit assignments under the guidance of the Audit Senior or Manager.
Prepare and organize audit working papers and supporting documentation.
Perform basic audit tests and verification of financial records.
Assist in obtaining and analyzing client information and documents.
Participate in stock counts, cash counts, and other audit procedures where required.
Assist in preparing audit schedules and reports.
Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed timelines.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Audit Senior or Manager.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely completion of assigned audit tasks.
Accuracy and quality of audit working papers.
Compliance with audit procedures and instructions.
Ability to learn and apply audit and accounting knowledge.
Professionalism, teamwork, and reliability.
Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Progress towards professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
