At Solardero Foundation, we believe in empowering communities — one stitch at a time.
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Bag Maker to join our team in Jibowu, Lagos, producing quality school bags that help keep children learning and moving forward.
We are open to both full-time and part-time arrangements for the right candidate.


Responsibilities


Cut, sew, and assemble school bags according to provided designs and specifications
Operate sewing machines and hand tools accurately and safely
Inspect finished products for quality and make corrections as needed
Manage materials efficiently to minimize waste
Meet agreed production targets
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.


Skills & Requirements


Education: FSLC or equivalent; vocational training in tailoring or bag making is an added advantage
Experience: 1 - 5 years in a similar role
Proven experience in bag making, leather work, or garment/textile production
Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
Good eye for detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow patterns and work to specifications
Honest, punctual, and team-oriented.


Remuneration
Competitive, based on experience and arrangement (full-time or part-time).
