Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing and baking high-quality breads and buns while maintaining excellent hygiene and production standards.
Key duties:
To prepare dough for a variety of breads and buns according to recipes and production schedules;
To operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens and proofers;
To monitor baking process to ensure consistent quality and texture;
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery;
Ensuring proper storage of ingredients and finished products;
Assisting in stock control and reporting shortages;
Supporting sales and marketing initiatives to grow the bakery's customer base.
Job Requirements:
Certificate or relevant training in Baking and Pastry
Proven experience in baking breads and buns
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Creative, self-motivated, reliable and results-oriented
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under significant pressure
