Job Summary


Njoro Canning Factory (K) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Baker / Sales Representative to support product demonstrations, customer engagement, bakery product development, and sales growth within the Nairobi region. The successful candidate will combine practical baking expertise with strong sales and customer relationship management skills.


Key Responsibilities


Conduct baking demonstrations using the company\'s products for customers and prospective clients.
Promote and sell company products to bakeries, supermarkets, distributors, and institutional customers.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Provide technical baking support and product application advice to customers.
Train customers on proper usage of company products and ingredients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports.
Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, and payment collections where applicable.
Participate in trade exhibitions, product launches, and promotional activities.
Collect customer feedback and recommend product improvements.
Ensure proper merchandising and visibility of company products in customer outlets.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
Represent the company professionally at all times.


Qualifications and Experience


Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Baking Technology, Food Science, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial baking, bakery operations, or bakery ingredient sales.
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or bakery ingredient sales will be an added advantage.
Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively within Nairobi and surrounding regions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
