Responsibilties


Production Oversight: Manage daily production schedules, workflow, and execution of all baked goods (dough, pastries, desserts).
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet established quality, uniformity, and aesthetic standards, implementing SOPs for consistent results.
Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, motivate, and evaluate baking staff; handle performance issues and foster a positive team environment.
Inventory & Supplies: Manage ingredient and supply levels, ordering as needed, and ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good working order.
Food Safety & Sanitation: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations (HACCP, local codes).
Cost Control: Monitor labor and inventory costs, implement cost-saving measures, and minimize waste.
Customer & Sales Focus: Coordinate with sales/front-of-house, handle customer complaints, and contribute to marketing/merchandising for increased sales.


Qualifications


Interested candidates should possess a BSc Degree with 4 - 6 years experience.
