In this role you run the bar with warmth and precision: drinks are right, the bar is ready, and guests feel looked after. You work closely with the F&B service team so bar and restaurant feel like one stay. This is a live-in role with rotational leave.
Tasks
Prepare and serve drinks to a consistent luxury standard.
Keep the bar clean, stocked, and ready before and during service.
Take and post orders accurately; handle billing with care.
Offer friendly, professional guest service at the bar and during meal periods.
Support restaurant service when needed.
Follow recipes and pouring standards so drinks taste the same every time.
Protect stock, glassware, and company property.
Complete end-of-shift closing and reporting.
Requirements
At least 2 years as a bartender in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, lodge, or safari camp.
Strong cocktail, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drink knowledge.
Accurate, hygienic work behind the bar.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
Willing to live in at camp, work rotating shifts (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays), and follow a rotational leave pattern.
Calm, guest-first, and reliable on standards and integrity.
Nice to have: safari camp or luxury lodge experience
