About the Role
We are seeking a Biomedical Equipment & Clinical Technology Specialist to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of biomedical equipment, laboratory systems, imaging/X-ray systems, mobile clinic equipment, and clinical technology across Zuri Health's operations and partner facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical and clinical equipment.
Support laboratory, diagnostic, imaging/X-ray, patient monitoring, sterilisation, and mobile clinic equipment.
Ensure compliance with equipment safety, quality, infection prevention, and service standards.
Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate repairs with vendors, clinical teams, laboratories, and partner facilities.
Provide technical support for virtual care, remote monitoring, and digital health platforms.
Ensure reliable laboratory equipment, interfaces, and test-result reporting workflows.
Maintain accurate electronic records of equipment, maintenance, incidents, and corrective actions.
Monitor equipment performance, downtime, utilisation, and risk indicators.
Ensure compliance with biomedical engineering, maintenance, health services, and facility safety SOPs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/HND in Biomedical, Clinical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in biomedical equipment support within a healthcare setting.
Professional registration/certification where applicable.
Strong skills in equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and safety.
Experience with laboratory, imaging/X-ray, mobile clinic, or digital health equipment is an advantage.
Proficient in English, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.
Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Self-driven, tech-savvy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
