Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification
Qualified Boilermaker/Welder (Trade Test Certificate).
2 - 3 years' experience in either Boilermaking or Welding.
Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Arc).
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards
Ability to work under pressure
Good leadership and communication skills
Basic computer skills
Medically fit in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Valid unendorsed driver's license
Own reliable vehicle
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment according to specifications
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques as required
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Cut, shape, bend, and weld metal components to required tolerances
Conduct routine and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment
Carry out quality checks and inspections on completed work
Carry out fitting work
Complete work orders/job cards as required using the relevant systems
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures on site
