Purpose of the role:
The Branch manager is responsible for the Branch, business, marketing and people management and Collections for his/her branch forming part of his/her Branch.
Qualifications:
Matric or equivalent
2 years proven track record in micro finance, banking or debtor management
Microsoft Office skills or equivalent
Experience:
Branch Management
Continuously manage and monitor branch performance with regards to the following:
New Client Growth to the expectancy of targets.
Branch sales growth Month on Month with a minimum expectancy of 2% and or maintain the minimum criteria set out by the area manager.
Expense monitoring.
Compliant loans created to ensure 87%+ collections rate based on Capital.
Business/Compliance management
Ensure implementation of and compliance with internal policy as determined by Executive management.
Ensure NCA compliance in respect of lending policy and display requirements
Ensure adherence to collections policies and procedures in Branch not limited to and including the branch daily collections process
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures by all branch staff.
Investigate and report non compliance to area manager.
Monitor potential fraud in branches and report suspicious activities to Area Managers.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting on Branch and within branches.
Ensure that the sum of branch daily/monthly recons are 100% accurate and are balanced every day.
Manage and report maintenance requirements of company hardware and software.
Sales and Marketing Management
Develop implement Sales and Marketing plans to improve branch performance
Effectively implement sales and marketing plans
Measure plan effectiveness and implement correct actions were required to increase sales.
Actively focus on marketing and cross sell of non-loan products
Adhere to the daily marketing files and completion there off
Drive community participation through focussed marketing activities
Collections
Daily and weekly monitoring of future instalments
Consistent and accurate Submissions of transactions on Nupay
Ensuring 87% + consistent collections on current.
Adhering to the daily and weekly collections file implementation as set out by senior management
People Management
Manage, motivate and monitor branch personnel and their performance.
Ensure active 360° communication between branches and Area Managers.
Decision making and problem solving in branches.
Manage staff training requirements and facilitate training.
Recommend to Area Managers staff movement including:
Promotions
Appointments
Movements
Salary adjustments
