TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Branch Manager: Mechanisation within the Trade division at Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal.
Job Summary
This role involves managing all aspects of the Mechanisation branch, including daily operations, sales, parts support, stock control, HR/IR functions, administration, and customer service.
It requires ensuring the branch meets operational standards, maintains profitability, and delivers exceptional customer satisfaction while supporting quotations, invoicing, and overall workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibility and accountability for all branch operations
Supervision of all activities, services, and staff
General administration and daily operational oversight
Key operational performance assessment
Manage shrinkage and control stock takes
POS process management
HR/IR management and staff development
Operational and strategic planning
Process improvement initiatives
Ensure sales and expenses align with budget targets
Ensure stock indicators meet company benchmarks
Drive store profitability
Maintain knowledge of spare parts, workshops, and relevant procedures
Generate client quotations and invoices
Deliver high levels of customer care and satisfaction
Assist with stock control and participate in regular stock takes
Uphold operational policies and procedures
Support and guide parts sales activities within the branch
Qualifications and Skills
Matric / Grade 12
Computer literate
Valid driver's licence
Relevant degree/diploma (advantageous)
Minimum 5 years' experience in the agricultural sector in a mechanisation management role
Experience in agricultural parts sales
Above-average knowledge of management principles
Strong planning, leadership, organising, and administrative skills
Assertive and analytical thinker
High attention to detail
Ability to train and develop employees
Ability to work independently under pressure
